We aim to spread good habits when it comes to handling food at home and in commercial settings, but also to instil pro-active attitudes among the inhabitants of Lesser Poland.<\/p><p>We have been organizing and helping organize a large number of educational and informational campaigns related to food waste, nutrition education and household bookkeeping techniques. We reach out to people of all ages, children and parents, pensioners and retirees, and anyone else looking to improve their social footprint.<\/p><p>Professional dieticians, personal trainers and chefs contribute their time by leading workshops, performing displays, giving lectures and talks, organizing debates and community meetings.<\/p><h4>Events organized by or in cooperation with the Krak\u00f3w Food Bank:<\/h4><ul><li>\u201cThe first 1000 days for health\u201d &#8211; a campaign against the malnutrition of newborn babies<\/li><li>Debates about diet and nutrition at schools<\/li><li>The \u201cHealthy and Delicious\u201d project<\/li><li>The Polish edition of MasterChef<\/li><li>Food Strikes &#8211; manifestations to raise awareness of food waste<\/li><li>The \u201cHistory Without Hunger\u201d project<\/li><li>The \u201cEco: Follow the Food\u201d project<\/li><li>The \u201cEco: Mission\u201d project<\/li><li>The \u201cI don\u2019t waste food, I take care of the environment\u201d project<\/li><\/ul><p>and many more.<\/p><p>Additionally, the Krak\u00f3w Food Bank takes part in numerous events organized by regional governing bodies (gminy, powiaty) at schools and other venues.
