Kraków Food Bank – Fighting Food Waste, Feeding Hope
The Krakow Food Bank is a team of dedicated professionals and volunteers united by a shared belief: the well-being of people and the planet matters. Every day, we rescue high-quality surplus food from retailers and producers and deliver it to 191 partner organizations that support nearly 60,000 people across our region. In 2024 alone, we saved 2,006,474 kilograms of food from going to waste. For 28 years, we have provided nearly 82,000 tons of food—worth over 360 million PLN—to those in need. That’s the equivalent of nearly 8 million meals every year for people facing hunger.
