Each month our support reaches over 62 000 people from the most poverty-stricken segment of the population of our voivodeship, Lesser Poland. Keeping in mind our responsibility to the recipients of this aid, we strive to find new ways to optimize our processes and operations so that the donated funds are spent maximally on helping instead of organizing the help.

The type of projects we routinely carry out necessitate large financial backing. We rely on the support of institutions, commercial or public, but also individual donations. You have the opportunity to easily donate to our cause — limiting the impact of malnutrition in our region while keeping food from being wasted.

The Kraków Foodbank does not purchase food. We rely on material donations from producers and vendors, as well as open calls for private contributions. The funding resulting from your donations go towards covering costs of transport, storage and distribution of the aid, as well as hosting educational events which aim to raise awareness of the issue of faulty food distribution logistics which result in a high monthly tonnage of food going to waste.
