Why is it worth donating your 1.5% tax to the Kraków Food Bank?
For over 28 years, the Food Bank in Kraków has been helping those in greatest need. Thanks to your support, we have already collected 82 million kilograms of food worth 360 million PLN, which we have turned into millions of meals reaching those in need.
Together, we create a better tomorrow
Our goal is to fight against food scarcity and waste. We collect food products from producers, distributors, and retail chains, and organize regular food drives: Easter, Kraków, and Christmas campaigns. By cooperating with over 191 partner organizations, we help tens of thousands of people in Małopolska.
What did we achieve in 2024?
- 3,220,337 kg of food donated to those in need
- 2,006,474 kg of rescued food
- 1,213,861.6 kg of food donated through the EU FEAD program
- 60,000 people receiving assistance
- 33,104,511.6 PLN – the value of food aid provided
Every złoty donated can provide up to 6 meals for those in need. This ensures that your contribution truly makes a difference.
THE 1.5% FUNDS WILL BE USED FOR:
- Food transportation and logistics
- Warehouse fees, electricity, and heating
- Repairs and maintenance of equipment
- Promotional materials for food drives
